Our hearts are filled with sorrow today. Brian was my best friend... I have so many fond memories of the times we spent together. Like driving up & down main street in Foam Lake in his 1968 blue camaro.Or attending almost every Foam Lake Flyers hockey games. Brian was special to all of my children especially Randi Lynn. We were so proud that he accepted our request to be Randi Lynn's Godfather, That made their relationship even more special.

My sympathies to the Halushka Family. Working with Brian (for 15 years or so?) at the Lafleche Credit Union was a gift. His sense of humour and cheerful manner crushed stress in a stress filled occupation. Tops of Brian’s many qualities and talents was his tasteful and uncanny ability to imitate people’s voices and personalities. I dare say he may have missed his calling in that regard. I recall one small office meeting in particular. Brian did a voice imitation that sounded so familiar. Everyone laughed. I laughed too because everyone else laughed, you know how that goes? It dawned on me later in the day that it was I that he had lampooned! Brian and I had a BIG chuckle about that.
Like the sheepdogs in the cartoons, Brian greeted me most mornings with a “g’mornin Ralph” to which I would dutifully reply “g’mornin Sam”. Then, at the end of the work day it was “g’night Ralph” and “g’night Sam”.
If it’s true that all Credit Union Loans personnel go to Heaven, I’ll see you again some day. “g’night Sam”
