It's hard to believe that one whole entire year has elapsed since the untimely demise of Connie! She was truly an incarnate angel of God. She walked her talk. I fortuitously bumped into her in the Cathedral Cresent Neighborhood of Regina 4 years ago during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. She called to me while I was causally walking by. I honestly didn't recognize her b/c I hadn't been in touch with her for well over a decade. She was super friendly and cordial. I subsequently seized the opportunity to bring up my version of the painful memories from the past and what ultimately transpired during the past 15 years. She admonished me to not live in the past, but to forgive and forget. I took her words to heart and experienced an eye opening epiphany. I consequently did move on with my life and let go of all or most of my deep-seated resentments. It was a veritable watershed moment in my life. I will never ever forget our last chance encounter and her words of wisdom. Connie touched everyone in her life. She was a true blue Christian !!!! My heart-felt condolences go out to Roy, Katherine, Ryan, Sarah, John, Abigail, Paul, Mary, Lisa, and Debbie!!!! Connie's memory and the impact that she had on our lives will persist in perpetuity!!!!!
