Obituary of Nic Prokopetz
Celebrating The Life Of Nicholas (Nic) Prokopetz
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved son. Nic is predeceased by his grandpa Ron Prokopetz and great grandmas Doris Prokopetz, Katherine Wach and Marion Slater. Nic leaves to mourn his parents Mike and Shauna Prokopetz, Nana Betty Slater, Grannie Esther Wittal, Grandparents Flo & Henry Buss, Uncle Sean & Auntie Ashley, Auntie Shannon, Uncle Shane, Auntie Shauna & Uncle Warren, Uncle Kevin & Auntie Lia, numerous cousins and extended friends and family that touched his heart.
Nic was born in Regina and spent the first 15 years of his life. You could always find Nic on his BMX. He rode that bike everywhere. Nic moved with his parent to Nut Mountain, SK in 2016 for a fresh start. Nic graduated from KHS and went on to work as a farm hand with KVC Farms. Nic had found his happy place on the farm and conformed to being a farmer and it suited him.
Nic was very much an excentric person, eclectic with music, had a kind & gentle soul, animal lover and had a way with kids. Animals seemed to flock to him. Nic was very techy and loved 3D printing all kinds of stuff for people. Nic was amazing at computers and built his own from scratch. Nic was always building or tinkering with something.
Nic will be deeply missed by many but never forgotten. Always in our hearts and minds.
