Celebrating The Life Of Marcel Pelletier

Marcel Joseph Pelletier, 73 of Kelvington SK passed away on February 11,2025 in Saskatoon, SK.

Marcel was born in Kelvington on October 13, 1951 to Art and Therese Pelletier. He attended various schools in Perigord SK, Cardston AB, Edmonton AB, with his final year in Kelvington SK.

Marcel, as a young man, began his adult life working at the lumber mill near Golden BC, where he met Debra Lynn Ball. After a couple years of wild mountain life, Marcel heard the call of the prairies and returned to Perigord SK to assist his father and become a Dairyman.

In 1975, Marcel returned to Perigord SK and began to establish a home for his soon to be wife, Debbie. They started their family and life long journey, including expanding the dairy farm, raising sheep, driving school bus, and being a neighbor who could always be counted on to help others. After many years on the farm, Marcel purchased a truck and proceeded to take long hauls throughout North America. Marcel finished his career working alongside Debbie at Keeley Lake Lodge where he performed maintenance and found his love for fishing. Marcel then came home to retire and continue to do the things that he loved: camping, quadding, nature walks, attending stock car races, tinkering in the shop or yard, and always offering a helping hand to family, friends and neighbors.

 

Left to mourn Marcel is his wife Debbie; children Dustin Pelletier, Ryan (Amanda) Pelletier, Sarah (Kevin) Yasinski; grandsons Carter Wright and Marshall Yasinski; his Mother Therese Pelletier; siblings Annette(Francis) Dube, Diane(Jim) Sanson, Denise(Mike) Broda, Jaquie(Darrin) Boen, Lisette(Bob) Dunbar, Lionel Pelletier; many nieces, nephews well as great nieces and nephews, and extended relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his father Art Pelletier, sister Helen Pelletier, mother-in-law Alice Ball, and father-in-law Bill Ball
