Celebrating The Life Of Rob Fouhse
Robert Fouhse was born March 4, 1962 to Eileen and George Fouhse of Spalding, SK. Rob was the 3rd child of 4 in the family. He had two older brothers Ross and Ronnie and a younger sister, Rena. Rob always loved sports, growing up he spent countless hours playing baseball and hockey and he participated in the Spalding 4-H Beef Club. Rob graduated from Spalding High School in 1980 and then attended University for a stint in Saskatoon pursuing studies in teaching. He then returned to the farm to help with the grain and livestock operation while working construction. In his early 20's, Rob found a new passion and raced chariots and chuckwagons. This passion, led him to finding his future wife, Shelly Babecy, while racing at the Porcupine Fair Days in Porcupine, SK.
Rob and Shelly started dating in 1990 and were married November 14, 1992. In 1995, Rob and Shelly bought an acreage in White City, SK, of which they called home ever since. They welcomed their first child Tyrel in 1993 followed by their next son Logan in 1995. Over the next 25 years Rob and Shelly have spent countless hours with their sons, at hockey rinks, ball diamonds, and rodeo arenas chasing their passions and supporting their dreams. Rob worked at Ross Machine Shop in Regina. SK as a Millwright until the day of his diagnosis, a career that he enjoyed doing for 20+ years. Rob was known for his quiet and peaceful nature.. He was someone you could always rely on, who always had a cold beer or a meal to share. Rob had 2 grandchildren with a third on the way who he adored more than anything. Rob’s favourite title in life was “Grandpa”.
Rob is survived by his: loving wife Shelly of 32 years; two sons Tyrel (Zoe), Logan (Brooke); grandsons Westyn and Hayes; siblings - brother Ross Fouhse (Linda), sister Rena Fouhse and niece Ronnie Jean Parker; mother-in-law Doreen Babecy; in-law family Cheryl and Brian Guenther, Darlene Hrynkiw, Garth and Cindy Babecy, as well as many extended family.
He is preceded by his: father and mother Eileen and George Fouhse; brother Ronnie Fouhse and many beloved relatives.
