In Loving Memory Of Ed Lozinski
Edward Andrew Lozinski was born October 29, 1938 to Peter and Anna Lozinski at Laniwci, SK (Aberdeen RM). In 1939, Peter and Anna moved to the Nora, SK district.
Ed was the 3rd youngest of 8 children, he attended the Bradgate school, and worked on the family farm clearing land to make a homestead.
In 1960 Ed and Daphne Halvorson’s paths crossed on Blueberry hill (Rose Valley area). In 1962, Ed and Daphne were married and to this union 8 children were born. They made their home 1 mile west of the family farm.
Ed’s love was farming, which included grain, cattle, pigs, chickens, geese turkeys, llamas, donkeys and horses. Pretty much any animal you can think of was at one time on the farm. He also worked off the farm with Sasktel, Archerwill Coop building department and was a bus driver.
Ed loved to play practical jokes, have fun, and always had lots of laughs. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ed’s favorite time of the year was harvest.
Left to treasure Ed’s memory is his wife of 62 years Daphne, children - Jim (Faye Wingert) Lozinski, Melinda (Kevin) Knudson, Ron (Lynn) Lozinski, Leanne (James) Knudson, Corey (Myrna) Lozinski, Curtis (Marlene) Lozinski Julieann Lozinski; Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren - grandson Jonathan Schurko (Chelsea Turcotte), great-grandchildren Haylee, Wynter, Zyan; granddaughter Lynn (Lonavin) Kohlen, great-grandchildren Liam, Hudsyn, Ashtyn; granddaughter Ashley (Codie) Prevost, great-grandchildren Lyriq, Everly, Nora; grandson Jamie Schurko, great-granddaughter Mia; granddaughter Nicole (Phil) Pacheco, great-grandchildren Madison and Walker; granddaughter Amanda (Brennan) Walton, great-grandchildren Aubree and Taryn; grandson Justin Knudson (Kyra Christianson); granddaughter Miranda (Ethan) Rheaume, great-grandson Jack; granddaughter Meghan Lozinski, great grandchildren Khail, Aidan, Paisley, Raiya; granddaughter Brooklynn Lozinski (Logan Karakochuk); granddaughter Cassandra Lozinski (Jaydon Wickstrom); grandson Braden (Kellsie) Lozinski, great-grandson Brantley; granddaughter Brittany Lozinski (Zach Fendelet); granddaughter Brandee Lozinski (Austin Cox), granddaughter Katie LaRoche (Chris Pocha); and grandson Wyatt LaRoche; brothers - Steve (Renatte) Lozinski and Walter Lozinski: sister Mary Chaykowski, as well as numerous neices, nephews, sisters in-law and brothers in-law.
Ed was predeceased by his: son Joseph Peter, his parents Peter & Anna; sisters Rose & Helen; brothers Jake & Morris; niece Veronica and nephews Leonard and Micheal as well as many extended family.
