Celebrating The Life Of Tony Morozoff

Anthony Gordon Morozoff was born on October 22, 1964 to his parents Nick and Pauline Morozoff. Tony has one younger brother Fred. Tony was raised on the family farm by Canora, SK. He moved to Wadena in 1987 where Tony lived until an unfortunate accident made it impossible for him to remain with Mallard Diversified Services Inc.

Tony moved to the Care Home in Watson, SK, for a few years, then moved back to Wadena where he lived the rest of his life.

Tony would always remind the staff at Pleasant View Care Home they needed to do a fire drill. He loved cats and dogs. Tony often talked about the kittens on the farm. He loved auctions and fire departments. Tony was thrilled that he got to see the fire trucks every year on his birthday. He was gifted his very own authentic fire helmet. He liked to tease the Wadena Fire Department that the Canora Fire Department was better. Tony used to make auction tapes and would ask staff to listen to them. He enjoyed listening to music and particularly liked the “Bird Dance”. Tony was always intrigued by the Northern Lights and would come into the house to let us know “the sky was dancing”. He was not one to compliment people often, but Tony always liked to see the ladies wear black pants. Tony loved chatting with anyone that would take the time to talk to him about farming, auctions, or what was new in town. Tony enjoyed putting on many miles keeping our ditches, around Wadena and in town, clear of bottles and cans. Coca Cola was his drink of choice or a good cup of coffee. He had a chatty personality that will be missed by many.

Tony is survived by his brother Fred and is predeceased by his parents Pauline and Nick Morozoff. Tony will be missed by his family, his family at MDSI and all who knew him.
