In Loving Memory Of Dale Brownlee

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dale Edward Brownlee. Dale passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family in the wee hours of February 4, 2026.

Dale was born in Wynyard, SK, on June 29, 1949 to Marcus and Wylda Brownlee and was raised on the family farm in the Copeland district. He attended Copeland Country School until grade 6, Kandahar School grades 7 & 8 and Wynyard High School for Grade 9 at which time he decided to go out into the work force. Dale worked for farmers, PFRA Construction and Co-op Implements. In 1972, he took a full time job with PFRA driving truck.

On May 12, 1973, Dale married Dianne Schuman of Raymore, SK. Their daughter Jacqueline was born in 1977 and son Jarret in 1978. With Dale’s different PFRA positions, they moved to Lumsden, Regina, and Watrous - at which time Dale decided an office job wasn't for him. He went selling machinery, until  moving to Raymore, in 1991 when he and Dianne began full-time farming. Over his years of farming, Dale also worked for Bolt Service, drove tour bus for Peekenson Tours and drove super B's for D. J. Knoll.

In 2014, due to health reasons the land was rented out and in 2016, Dale had major surgery, which was the start of a downhill slide in his physical health. In 2018, Dale and Dianne sold 4 quarters of land and moved to Moose Jaw, SK and retired. Dale always took pride in keeping his yards well manicured.

Dale was predeceased by his: parents Marcus & Wylda;  Dianne's parents Walter & Olga Schuman; brother-in-law Gerald Schuman; sister-in-law Marlene Meenan and her husband Bernie Meenan.

Dale is survived by his: loving wife of 52 years Dianne; children - daughter Jacquie (Eric) Bondarchuk, son Jarret (Clara) Brownlee;  two special granddaughters Emilia Brownlee & Lillian Brownlee. Dale is also survived by his: brother Earl (Pat) Brownlee; his sister-in-law June Schuman; nieces Lynn (Marcus) Elphinstone, Darla (Rob) Spelliscy; nephews Curt Brownlee, Shawn (Loretta) Meenan; great nieces, great nephews, several cousins and extended family.
