Obituary of Louis Romanus
In Loving Memory Of Paul "Louis" Romanus
Paul “Louis” Romanus, 93, of Kelvington Saskatchewan passed away on March 10, 2026 in Kelvington, SK at the Kelvindell Lodge. Louis was born in Kelvington to John and Celina (Viens) Romanus on July 22, 1934. He attended the Pipestone Country School. On December 16, 1954, Louis married the love of his life June Evelyn Ryland. To this union two sons were born, Robert “Rob” and Dale. The Romanus family were part of a close-knit community of friends that visited, fished, camped, played cards, curled and volunteered together. Over the years, Louis coached his boys in hockey and ball.
In retirement, Louis enjoyed napping, watching curling, baseball and hockey, eating and driving out to the farm to see how things were going. Later in life, Louis spent time with his friend Myrtle Wagner.
