Celebrating The Life Of Linda Redman

It is with deep sadness that the family of Linda Joyce Redman (nee Kosolowsky) have to announce her sudden passing on March 28, 2026 at the age of 77.

Linda was born in Benito, Manitoba on March 15, 1949 to Mike and Marg Kosolowsky.

Linda went to school in Durban, Manitoba until grade 5 and then moved to Margo, Saskatchewan where she completed grade 6 through 12.

Linda married Wayne Redman in 1967 and they lived in Flin Flon, Manitoba where their first child Collin was born in 1968. They lived there for a few months and then moved back to Margo to farm and in the winter she would go to Boissevain, Manitoba to work at her parent’s hotel and Wayne drove truck. They did this for several years. In 1972, their second child Michelle was born.

Linda was very active on the farm, she did all the farm books and also helped with the seed cleaning business.

Linda loved being on the farm. She enjoyed gardening, picking mushrooms, reading, curling and raising their children; then later watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow.

After 46 years of farming, Linda and Wayne decided to retire to Jan Lake, Saskatchewan in 2014. Jan Lake is where, over the years,  they had spent many summer holidays with Collin and Michelle, their grandchildren and many friends. While living there, Linda enjoyed fishing, picking mushrooms and blueberries, and even gardening in her planter boxes Wayne built all around their home for her.

Linda especially loved and enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. The many visits to the farm and Jan Lake with them were highlights in her life.

Linda is survived by her: husband Wayne Redman; son Collin (Denise) Redman; daughter Michelle (Dwayne) Jesse; grandchildren Hoyt (Alysia) Redman, Nicholas (Raelyn) Redman, Chantelle (Kyle) Beaton, Kaitlyn (Michael) Little, Shayla Jesse and Brianna Jesse; great-grandchildren Zane, Kyson, Brody and Caleb Redman, William Beaton and Blake Little; mother-in-law Irene Redman, as well as many extended family and friends.

Linda was predeceased by her: parents Mike and Marg Kosolowsky; father-in-law Melvin Redman; and brother-in-law Randy Redman.
