In Loving Memory Of Stephen Young

Stephen Corey Derek Blake Young AKA known as “Stevo” was born at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, SK on August 24, 1992 to parents Freida Josephine Young and Stephen Max Chabaylo. Stevo made his journey home on April 22, 2026 in Saskatoon, SK.

Left to mourn Stephen’s passing are his: daughter Silver; wife Larissa Whitecap; mother Freida Young; father Stephen Chabaylo; big brother Terris Young; big sister Krystal Young; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Stephen is predeceased by his: son; great grandparents Peter and Emma Anderson; grandparents Freda and Joe Young; and uncles Floyd Young and Walace Young.

Stevo was extremely serious about his daughter and family. He always made sure everyone was good, even if he wasn’t, that’s just the guy he was. He always had such a longing to join the military and serve his life some more. Stevo had a specialty with landscaping and admired the colour blue. He had a passion for music, whether it was listening to it or playing instruments. Stevo actually taught himself how to play guitar. He was always expanding his mind and always telling someone “check this out” whenever he found something cool. Stevo was a good man with such a big heart for the ones around him especially for his very own family.

You’ll forever be loved and missed Stephen.
