Obituary of Angela Beaumont
In Loving Memory Of Angela Beaumont
(nee Eccles)
It is with tremendous heartbreak that we, the family of Angela Elizabeth Beaumont, announce her passing on June 26, 2026. Angela was born February 25, 1951, in Wadena, Saskatchewan to her parents, Herbert and Olive Eccles. She was raised on the family farm ten miles southeast of Wynyard, Saskatchewan. She received her education at Rushville Country School, Wynyard Elementary School, and Wynyard Composite High School. Angela was united in marriage to Douglas Nolan Beaumont on February 27, 1971, at the Advent Lutheran Church in Thompson, Manitoba and they welcomed their son Kelvin Douglas on June 29, 1972.
Angela received a Rehabilitation Worker Certificate and embarked on a thirty-year career as a care aide at Elmwood Residence in Saskatoon, retiring in 2016. She was a dedicated employee who could be relied upon for her keen attention to detail. Angela cared deeply about the residents she worked with as well as her coworkers. She made sure all residents had every need met and they were happy. Angela was a special person in the lives of those she cared for.
Angela enjoyed camping and sailing with her husband and son on their sailboat on Lake Diefenbaker, where they welcomed many families and friends aboard. She had such fond memories of those excursions and spoke of them often. Angela had a great love of birds and all animals, especially her two little dogs Sadie and Chloe. She had a very keen interest in all things related to the Royal Family, due to her English heritage, as her mother was a British War Bride. Angela loved to visit, taking an interest in other people’s lives, their activities and she showed great concern for others. She had a quick wit and an excellent sense of humour. Angela loved to shop. She loved antiques, jewelry, ornaments, stamp collecting and chocolate, in any form. Angela loved taking photos at family gatherings. She enjoyed music, especially listening to hymns and Christian songs.
Angela had tremendous faith and a positive attitude. She had courage and great inner strength that was evident throughout her illness. Angela leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, generosity, thoughtfulness, great compassion and empathy.
Angela was predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Olive Eccles.
Angela will be lovingly remembered and cherished by her: husband of 55 years Douglas; son Kelvin (Shannon Blum); siblings Carol (Ray) Bichon, Wendy (Alvin) Cherneski, Brian Eccles, Jackie (Tim) Hordos; and her sister-in-law Myrna Eccles. She will also be missed by numerous in-laws from Douglas’s side of the family, many cousins, nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends whom she loved dearly.
