Mark was one of the very first people I met when I joined FCL eight years ago. From day one, he made me feel welcome and helped make what could have been a challenging transition into a new company much easier. His kindness, support, and willingness to help left a lasting impression on me and many others who had the privilege of working alongside him.
Mark brought tremendous energy to everything he did. He was deeply committed to the success of the organization and played a key role in leading and implementing many important initiatives over the years. His enthusiasm, dedication, and drive inspired those around him and helped shape the organization in meaningful ways.
Mark will be greatly missed, but I am grateful to have known him and to have had the opportunity to work with him. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched.
May he rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of working with Mark for 10 years at FCL.I enjoyed getting to know him, and every conversation I had with him, whether it be work related or not. His pride in his daughters shone through any conversation he had about them (he was an expert salesman of girl guide cookies!).
Mark brought brightness to any meeting - whether it be via his expertise or a well timed joke. He led his team with compassion and knowledge, and always offered help to any team that required it.
Mark, you will be missed and your loss is felt deeply across many teams. I send my most sincere condolences to his daughters, family, and friends. May you hold your memories close and in reach when you need them.

Our families shared so many wonderful years together, and those memories will always hold a special place in our hearts. As our girls grew up, Amy and Emma were the best of friends, and we spent countless hours together travelling, boating, cheering on the girls at soccer, enjoying backyard barbecues, family get-togethers, and sharing so many laughs along the way.
We are heartbroken by this loss. Our hearts are with Twyla, Amy, Erica and the entire family during this incredibly difficult time. We will forever cherish the memories we made together and will always remember Mark with warmth, gratitude, and a smile. We hope they find comfort in the love that surrounds them and in the many beautiful memories of Mark that will live on forever. Love Holly, Emma, Megan and Trevor xoxo

I worked with Mark at Encana and Cenovus on a number of projects. He was very well liked by his team and the business groups he supported.
Always super friendly and thoughtful. I really liked working with him, and talking about coaching soccer, an activity we had in common. He was always very proudly talking about his girls and how much he enjoyed coaching them.
All the best to Mark’s family and close friends.

It is truly heartbreaking to hear of Mark's passing. For me, this loss is especially personal, as I had the privilege of interviewing him and strongly recommending his hiring at FCL. It remains one of the best professional recommendations I have ever made.
Mark was an exceptional person who exceeded every expectation as a colleague, a manager, and, above all, a friend. His warm smile, gentle nature, unwavering kindness, and genuine care for others touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of integrity, compassion, and professionalism that will not be forgotten.
Rest in peace, Mark. May God bless your soul and grant comfort and strength to your family, friends, and all who mourn your loss. You will be deeply missed, but your memory will live on in our hearts forever. Tanweer Abbas
