Obituary
In Loving Memory of Eunice Zazula Eunice Zazula was born to Peter and Annie (Hankewich) Zazula on June 5, 1937. Eunice received her elementary education at Harrow Public School, a country school. She completed her grade nine and ten by correspondence and attended Sacred Heart Academy in Yorkton to complete her grade eleven and twelve where she graduated With Honours in 1957. She enrolled at St. Paul's School of Nursing in Saskatoon, SK and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1960. After working briefly at City Hospital in Saskatoon, SK She moved to Vancouver, BC in 1961, where she nursed at several hospitals. In 1966, Eunice decided to move to Toronto, ON where she nursed at a number of different health facilities. She then moved to Regina, SK in 1982 where she nursed at the Regina General Hospital. She retired from nursing in the late 1990s. While working she travelled extensively across Canada. Eunice enjoyed watching TV, baking, playing cards, travelling by air and listening to music. She travelled on airplanes extensively visiting from coast to coast. On November 21, 2016 Eunice made her new home at the Weneeda Park Lodge in Wadena, Saskatchewan. Due to poor health she moved to Pleasant View Care Home in Wadena on June 12, 2019 and lived there until her passing on March 16, 2022 Eunice will be sadly missed and always remembered by: her Twin brother, Paul who is the only remaining sibling, nieces, Rosemary Winslow, Celeste Kirk, Marian (Vic) Goodman, Marguerite Kirk and Maureen (Michael) Hammer; nephews, Eugene (Valerie) Nicholat, Gerald Kirk, David Kramer and Paul Kirk , as well as many great nieces, nephews and extended family. Eunice is predeceased by: her father, Peter in 1962; her mother, Annie in 2003 and by her brothers, Fred in 1989 and Steven in 2015; her sisters, Katherine Kramer in 1993, Pearl in 2004, Mary Nicholat in 2011 and Anastasia Kirk in 2013; brothers in law, Oris Kirk in 1978, Fred Nicholat in 1986 and Fred Kramer in 1994; and nephew-in -law Lorne Winslow as well as many extended family.
