In Loving Memory of Keely Daly Keely was born in Wynyard, SK on June 14, 1970. She grew up on the family farm near Leslie, SK. Keely enjoyed an active life. She enjoyed figure skating in Elfros as a child and won trophies for swimming and bowling in the Special Olympics in Yorkton. She enjoyed summer camps at Camp Easter Seal and Camp Thunder Bird, her time at these camps was very precious to her. She loved everyone she met and always had a smile and hug to share. Keely truly had a heart of gold and her friends and family meant the world to her. Keely fell in love with Curious George when she was a young child and always kept a special stuffy with her. She loved to read, listen to music and watch movies. Keely was so honoured to be a bridesmaid in Nicole and Candy-Lynn’s wedding parties. Keely was thrilled to take the trip of a lifetime with her parents to London, England to spend Christmas with her sister Nicole and her family. She took in all the sights, including Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and loved the ride on the London Eye. Keely worked at a variety of jobs, including playschool helper, Pre-K helper, babysitting, restaurant kitchen help, greenhouse helper, and a reading helper at school in Wadena. She also had a variety of work while living in Yorkton. Keely became involved with CARRES and spent several years in activities with their program in Wynyard. Her last move was to Wadena where she enjoyed the group home atmosphere and her work at the workshop that provided a variety of activities. She was most proud of her business ventures including tie dye socks, scrunchies and towels that she made and sold. Her newest venture was making book marks and wind chimes. Keely passed away peacefully at RUH on March 19, 2022 surrounded by her entire family after a short, but mighty fight against lung disease.
