In Loving Memory of Fred Mychan Fred was born September 9, 1930 in Macklin, Saskatchewan to Jacob and Domka Mychan. He attended McKenley, Scoffield, and Patten Schools. When he went to Scoffield School with his sisters, Sylvia and Rose, they had to walk two and a half miles. When he finished his education, he kept on helping his dad on the farm two miles east of Kylemore, Saskatchewan.Fred had four sisters, of which they thought of him as a wonderful brother. Fred played the accordion for many events and dances with his friends. Fred and some friends formed a band called "The Dynamite Four" and he also belonged to the band "The Kylemore Stubble Jumpers". Fred worked in Toronto, Ontario in the winter months coming back to farm in the spring. Fred also worked for Wadena Tire.The family farm was a favorite spot for B-B-Q's, family reunions and many barn dances in the upstairs of the barn.In 1972 he married Beverley Booth from Winnipeg, Manitoba. They continued to farm and in 1976 their son Bradley was born. Fred leaves to mourn his passing: his wife Beverley; his son Bradely, (Michelle), his two grandchildren Kya and Wyatt; his sisters, Rose Palechka, Helen Krakowksi, Nettie Sobchishin, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Fred was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob and Domka Mychan; his sister, Sylvia and his baby brother Slowko; his brothers-in-law, Rudolph Krakowski, Marsh Palechka, Walter Linkiewicz and many cousins and relatives.
