Obituary
In Loving Memory of Iris Lee Iris Lee, of Wynyard, Saskatchewan, went home to Jesus on April 24, 2022, at the age of 65. She is survived by her daughters, Nita (Kevin) and Kristina, and her grandchildren Nikita, Zachary, Abigail, Luke, and Logan. Iris also leaves behind her two sisters Olga (Leonard) and Eva, and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends. Iris was predeceased by her Mother and Father, her nephew, Brad Smith, and her partner and best friend, Marlon Onofriechuk. Iris was born on July 10, 1956 in Porcupine Plain, Saskatchewan to Michael and Polly Kuzmyk. She attended elementary school in Carragana, Saskatchewan, and high school in Porcupine Plain, where she graduated as Valedictorian of her class, because she was, up to her death, a Smarty-Pants. Iris was a long-time employee of Lilydale Foods, until her battle with Parkinson’s Disease forced her retirement, and she sadly could no longer call herself a “Chicken- Plucker”. We are certain that her alarm clock, that crowed like a rooster in the morning, was a great help to her during this time. Iris enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were a delight to her, and she often referred to herself as a “5-Star Grandma”. Trips to Grandma’s house were always a joy, filled with laughter and fun, surrounded by love. And also it was very, very noisy, because Grandma always said “Let them be little. Let them be LOUD.” Iris was a woman of strong Faith. She was a member of Wynyard Gospel Church, and loved her Ladies Bible Study group. She lived her Faith every day, in her actions and words, and was a living example of how our Loving God sees us through All. Iris had a wonderful sense of humour, and was full of sarcasm, traits she graciously passed on to All of Us. She was loved and cherished by her family, and though she will be missed, this time is only sad for those who are left behind. Enjoy your new body Mom; dance with the Angels; and say “Hi” to Papa for us. As Per Iris' Wishes There Will Be No Service Memorial donations in memory of Iris may be made to Parkinsons Canada 4211 Yonge Street, Suite 316 Toronto, ON M2P 2A9
