Helen loved living in Foam Lake, Sk. She held her friends and neighbours in high regard and sopke fondly of those in her life. She had no children of her own but shared in the joy of the children and grandchildren of family and friends. She regularly attended the Care Home in Foam Lake where she brightened many a day for residents and made 2 very special friends. Helen had a strong faith, unconditional dedication to St. John's Foam Lake Anglican Church, which she faithfully attended and served. Her sister and family had the opportunity to speak with many local residents, while making arragements for her service. It was comforting to hear their stories, memories and expressions of friendship for Helen. Helen is lovingly remembered by her sister Eileen (Don) Fuller, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many friends and neighbours. She was predeceased by her husband Jim, her siblings Jimmy Howlett, Joan McDonald, Kay Howlett, Betty Adamson and Bill Howlett. Memorial Service for the late Helen Mawer of Foam Lake was held on Saturday July 28 in the Foam Lake United Church at 11:00. with Rev. Glen Burgermaster officiating. Those who wish to make tokens of remberance may do so to the Foam Lake Anglican Church.
