Mrs. Effie Timoshuk,beloved wife of Pete Timoshuk passed away on October 25, 2012. Funeral service for Mrs. Timoshuk was held Monday, October 29, 2012 at the Foam Lake United Church, Foam Lake Saskatchewan at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take placeat the Foam Lake Cememtery. Effie, and her twin sister Mary, were born on May 15, 1936 to Mike and Catherine Anaka. She recieved her education at the Malby school and helped on the family farm in the Foam Lake district. On June 24, 1956, Effie wed the love of her life, Peter, at Wadena. They settled on the family farm in the Fishing Lake district, where they continue to farm. Effie spent her life caring for others...her husband, her family, her friends, her neighbours and her animals. She always made time to share stories, a few laughs and giggles branding with that special "Effie" humor. When she came to into town, she always made time to stop for coffee and visit. She cultivated many steadfast, deep personal relationships and when you spent time with her you felt as if you were her primary focus...she made you feel loved. Effie was a strong, hard working woman who was generous in spirit, overflowing with enthusiasm and blessed with loads of creativity...that was evident in the many works of art, crafts and gifts she produced. Many of us have a 'token of love' she created especially for us. Effie was predeceased by her parents Mike and Catherine Anaka; her infant brother, William; and her twin sister Mary Polster. She will be loving remembered by her husband Peter; brother John (Linda) of Moose Jaw; brother Steve (Lois) of Marquis; numerous brothers in laws and sister in laws; all her neices and nephews; and her many, many friends, including her special four legged friends 'Tigger', 'Lucky' and 'Dusty'.
