Obituary
Kelly Stuart Klebeck Kelly was born in Foam Lake on March 18, 1955 to Donald and Doreen (Helgason) Klebeck. He passed away peacefully with his wife and children by his side on June 18, 2019. Kelly grew up north of Foam Lake on the family farm and helped pick roots and rocks every summer from sunup to sundown. He learned his great work ethics from his dad. He married his true love, Deb (Burns) on July 27th 1976. They welcomed 3 amazing children into their lives in 1977, 1979, and 1981. His legacy also included his 9 wonderful grandchildren who were his world. He would have done anything for his family and he was very proud of all of them. It was so important to him for them all to be happy and to know they would be ok. Kelly and Deb moved to Calgary every winter for several years to work and came home in the spring of those years to help his dad farm. In 1983 they built a home on an acreage outside of Wynyard which became Kelly’s happy place. They farmed with Deb’s brothers and sister for a couple of years before going on their own. In 1996 they quit farming and Kelly became a carpenter full time. He built everything - houses, furniture, treasure boxes etc. as well as all the renovations he had done over the years. His perfectionism served him well. His other interests included golden retrievers, fishing, hunting, rocketry and his little herd of cows who he called “his girls”. Kel leaves to mourn Deb, his loving wife of 43 years, son Kris (Crystal) Dade and Lincoln, son Derek (Tara) Ava and Eastyn, daughter Amanda (Jason) Blake, Madison, Logan, Makenzi and Summer. He is also survived by his brothers Everett (Rennae), Tim (Signy), Terry, Dale (Deedra) sister Laurel, his brothers and sisters in law Gordon & Brenda, John & Linda, Wayne & Cathy, Gary & Linda and Sharolyn & Jerry, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, one great great niece and his many friends, uncles, aunts and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Doreen Klebeck, mother and father in law Wendell and Winifred Burns, brother in law Stuart and sister in law Bernadette. Thank you to all the health care teams that made Kelly’s last few months very comfortable. A special thank you to Mark Tarry, the Wynyard Community Health Centre team, Julee Gibson, the nurses, the on call doctors, the kitchen staff at the Wynyard Union Hospital and Narfasons Family Funeral Services who went above and beyond for Kelly and his family. Also, thank you for all the cards, phone calls, food, flowers, donations, and support you have given all of us through this difficult time. … Deb, Kris, Derek and Amanda Klebeck and krew
