It is with sadness that the family of Vi Brady, announce her passing. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 23, 2014 2:00 p.m. Woodlawn Cemetery Officiating: Funeral Celebrants Karol Narfason & Keri Helberg Tea following the service will be held at Park Funeral Chapel Violet Grace Brady (nee Christianson) BRADY, Violet Grace Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Violet Brady (nee Christianson) passed away on October 18, 2014, just one month shy of her 88th birthday. Vi was born in Wadena, SK and raised on a farm near Hendon, SK. She spent the last 55 years of her life living in Saskatoon. Vi worked a variety of administrative positions, in particular, she spent 20+ years working at the Royal University Hospital, from which she retired in 1992. Violet will lovingly be remembered by her husband of 63 years, Kirk Brady; her children: Cheryl (Jim) Flynn of Beechy, SK; Kathryn Carriere of Saskatoon; Greg Brady of Duncan, BC; Maureen Brady (Larry Marko) of White Rock, BC; and Allyson Brady (Troy Mamer) of Saskatoon. Vi was proud grandmother to: Daniel Flynn, Meghan Gainer, Theresa Wolfe, Angela Neish, Aimee Carriere, Leon Brady, Lauren Nicholls, Chelsea Marko and Josh Marko; and great grandmother to: Jessica, Alexandra, Ian, Brendan, Stephanie, Drew, Solomon, Sadie, Wyatt, and West. Vi was predeceased by her only brother Allan Christianson. Donations may be made in Vi's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan.
