Cecilia Theresa Nanaquawetung Cecilia Theresa Nanaquawetung was born to Jack and Stella Nanaquawetung on January 21, 1940. She began her journey home on October 11 th at the tender age of 81 years with her family by her side. Cecilia is predeceased by both parents; the following siblings, Veronica, Vincent, Geraldine, Arron, Clayton, Luke, Alice, Caroline, and Joyce; and two children, Aarron and Sandra; Grandchildren, Chantelle, Renee, Travis, Aaron, Georgina, Brandon and Priscilla. She leaves to mourn her children, Gwen (Mike), Dianne, Patsy (Noel), Myrna, Brenda, Glenda and Luanne (Terence); 36 Grandchildren, 65 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren. Cecilia was a loving and caring Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunty and Elder that was well respected and loved amongst her family and friends. She had an abundance of love for all her children, grands, greats and great greats. She would go out of her way to make sure they were well cared for. She had a big heart and thought of others well-being before herself. She kept her home and her yard well maintained and wouldn’t accept any help in doing so. She was a slight perfectionist who had to make sure it was done right or inline, but not in an overbearing way. She was known to be seen walking our roads daily for many years and in any season or weather; she found much solitude in that. Her humor was always enlightening and brightened anyone’s day. She always had a humorous remark or comment on any conversation being had and was always ready for a quick come back if being teased. She also loved driving around going out on adventures with her sister Leona as they were the talk of rez when you would see them together as they always seemed like they were up to no good. The vision of seeing her on our roads will be so missed. She will be missed by many. Her memory will be kept alive through her family for years to come.
