Obituary of CODEY BRANDON MARCEL LITTLE
In Loving Memory of Codey Little
Codey was born on a frigid winter day on January 07, 1993, in St. Claude, MB. He was the youngest child of Dwayne Little and Pierrette Woynarski. When Codey was three months old Dwayne was offered a full-time position with CP Rail, thus moving the family to Wynyard, SK.
Despite his disabilities, Codey went through life insisting to be treated just like an ordinary child. He got in trouble just like any child and had chore lists along with his siblings. Codey attended the Wynyard Elementary School then Wynyard Composite High School until grade 12. At 18 years old he decided he wanted to move to Regina. This was a terribly hard move for his mom, but since Codey was encouraged and raised to be as independent as possible, she knew he would do it with or without her help. With support in place and a good place to live Codey moved to Regina.
Graduating, moving to the city, buying, and maintaining a home is a challenge for anyone these days; but Codey was never one to sit back and take the easy route. If the path he wanted to take wasn’t there, he would just pave his own! Codey had more than his fair share of obstacles and he wasn’t dealt an easy hand in this life, but through the support of his loving family and sheer force of will on his part, he built an incredible life. Codey had more determination and perseverance than most people, and his parents couldn’t be prouder of all his accomplishments.
Beloved Codey is survived by: his parents, Dwayne Little, and Pierrette (Durand) Woynarski; step-parents Stacey Kwasney, and Ambrose Woynarski; Siblings: Ryan (Keli) Little, Desiree (Thomas) Kerluke; GrandPapa; Lucien Durand and Nana; Sue Durand of Wynyard, SK and his Grandmaman Alice Durand of St. Claude, MB; nephews; Aiden, Jackson, and Henry; Nieces; Grae, Aliya and Madelyn; he will also be greatly missed by his loving dog Layla.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Saskatchewan Camp Easter Seal, Mozart Sympawthy Animal Sanctuary, or the Saskatoon SPCA.
His absence will be felt every day. He was a caring son, loyal brother, devoted uncle, and kind friend.
The day Codey was born, we were given a gift.
God wanted his gift back.
