Predeceased by his parents Mary and Joseph Gillis; sons Joseph Brass and Edwin Cachene; daughter Vera Cachene; and granddaughter Michael-Lynn Brass. Jerry leaves behind his loving wife Evelyn Gillis; children Michael Brass (Cheryl), Justin Gillis (Carmen) and Valerie Baranieski (Lance); grandchildren Sundance Brass (Sunshine), Chantelle Brass, Charity Alesha Lynn Brass, Christopher Chudyk, Cherish Cachene (Patrick), Kendra Morris (Gordon), Adrianna Holt, Gerard Keewatin (Evelyn), Kenneth Keewatin (Brittany), Colton Cachene (Hailey), and Cody Cachene.
