Obituary
Ronalee Faye Thompson was born on September 18, 1966 at Thompson, MB to parents Bruce and Moreen Thompson. When Ronalee was young, the family moved to the McKague District where they farmed. Ronalee took her schooling at Archerwill, SK.
Ronalee joined the work force at a young age. She worked as a waitress, cook, baker, babysitter, a breeding clerk at the hog barns, with customer service and as a Home Care Aide.
After raising her children, Ronalee completed her Grade 12 by night school and furthered her education by earning her Continuing Care Certification.
Ronalee married Marlin Nelson in 1984. To them, three children were born - Laura, Johnathan and Ronald. Ronalee’s pride and joy were her 8 grandchildren. She loved having them for sleep overs, baking with them, shopping, watching movies and letting them break bedtime and nutrition rules.
Ronalee was known for her generosity and giving nature. She was always willing to help others - family, friends or strangers.
Ronalee passed away on April 29th, 2023 at Humboldt Hospital, after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her mother Moreen and brother Ronald. She will be sadly missed by her: spouse Marlin; children - Laura (Travis Smith), Johnathan (Terrilyn) and Ronald (Brianna), grandchildren - Gyleasa, Mikayla, Lillith, Aiden, Charlie, Jaxson, Ellie and Avery; father Bruce; sister Lorraine Thompson; brothers - Ken (Vel) Thompson and Raymond Thompson as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
