In Loving Memory of Blaine Deaflad
Blaine was born on September 7th, 1989. He passed away peacefully with friends and family by his side on March 7th, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Blaine was a quiet, kind, considerate, thoughtful, friendly guy who would help anyone in need. One of Blaine’s most favourite things to do was to simply hang out with his siblings and children. He loved the outdoors – quadding, snowmobiling, golfing, yard work and everything about the lake. Music was also something Blaine enjoyed. He loved new experiences, discovering new places, seeing new landscapes. Blaine was good with kids and loved giving them rides or taking them on adventures. He loved working with vehicles and was meticulous about keeping them detailed. He took great pride in keeping everything neat, tidy, cleaned up and in top shape.
Blaine had a very strong personality and accomplished whatever he set his mind to. When he decided something needed to happen, he made it happen. One of his proudest achievements was his graduation from Cumberland College in 2022.
Blaine spent many years employed on bee farms; he loved this type of work and especially loved the people he worked with. He also loved carpentry, recently working in the industry, planning to complete his apprenticeship had his health allowed it.
Blaine leaves behind so many people that loved him and who will miss him immensely.
