Obituary of Ann Zarazun

In Loving Memory Of Ann Zarazun

Ann Sylvia Zarazun of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan passed away on September 2nd, 2024 at the Royal University Hospital at the age of 87 after a brief illness.

Ann was born on September 14, 1936, on the farm near Kelliher/Ituna District. She spent her childhood years on the farm in the Malby district. Ann attended Malby School until Grade 8. In 1958 she married the love of her life, Steve Zarazun. They resided in Red Lake, Ontario for 11 years before moving to Saskatoon in 1967, where Ann resided until her passing. She spent her years homemaking. Ann had many talents some of which were sewing, needlepoint, gardening, canning, baking, and working at bringing their home from the construction stage to completion.

Ann, along with her sister Mary were amazing seamstresses. They designed and sewed all the beautiful drapery in their homes, along with matching features such as bedspreads & cushions. They were talented at everything they attempted to work at.

Ann had a quick wit that made spending time with her enjoyable and humerous.

Ann was predeceased by her: parents Steve and Katie Antonishyn; husband Steve Zarazun; brother Andy Antonishyn and brother-in-law Walter Kucheran.

Ann leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory, her; beloved twin sister Mary Kucheran of Saskatoon and niece Janet Fjellstrom of Foam Lake. She is survived by her: sister-in-law Mary Reiger of Winnipeg, Manitoba; brother-in-law Adam (Bev) Zarazun of Winnipeg, Manitoba and sisters-in-law Emily Zarazun of Windsor, Ontario and Shirley Zarazun of Strathmore, Alberta along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends and neighbours.
