Celebrating The Life Of Patricia 'Pat' Oie
Patricia Oie was born on April 11, 1951 in Virden, Mb. to William and Matilda Milligan. She was adopted by Ed and Elsie Isley on December 24, 1955 at the age of 4 years old and was lovingly raised by them on their farm South of Lintlaw, SK.
Pat attended school at St. Eutrope School and Lintlaw School. She fell in love with her neighbor Ben Oie and
they were married October 16, 1971. Together they had 2 children Melanie and Brad.
In Pat's later years she worked at The Sportsman Motel in Kelvington as a housekeeper and kitchen help. She also worked at the Wadena Auction Mart and other various kitchen and cleaning jobs in the area. In her free time she spent lots of time helping Ben on the farm, they even dug a 66 foot well by hand just the 2 of them. They worked so hard but they got it done and they were so proud of it.
Pat's greatest love was her 4 Grandchildren Ty, Kael, Kristian and Krystal. She loved spending as much time as she could with them. She took every opportunity to go see them, have them over or just talk to them on the phone.
Pat is predeceased by her: husband Ben Oie; biological
parents William and Matilda Milligan; adoptive parents Ed and Elsie Isley; brother Danny Milligan and brother-in-law Kenny Oie as well as other relatives.
Pat is survived by her: daughter Melanie (Royce) Gabel;
