Obituary
Elma June was born to Wesley and Mary Reynolds on the family homestead Southeast of Elfros, in the Rose Vale District on December 2, 1926. Elma was the 11th of 12 children and attended Rose Vale School completing grade 10. When Elma joined the workforce her very first job was keeping house for Frankie and Ella Reynolds. Over her lifetime Elma worked at the Wynyard hospital, babysat her Grandchildren, and provided cleaning services for homes and office buildings. But the most important job in her eyes was being a mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She took great pride in cleaning, cooking, baking, and caring for her children and grandchildren. Elma married Lennie Kristjanson on June 15, 1951. They resided in Sherridon, MB; Lynn Lake, MB; and made Wadena their permanent home. Lennie and Elma had four children; Greg, Keith, Corinne and Glenda. Elma remained in Wadena for more than 50 years until 2008 when she moved to Tisdale. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at New Market Manor in Tisdale, SK. Elma was very active until the last few years of her life. She played a lot of ball, and was the pitcher for the Leslie Lynette's Ball Team, the Men's Team, the Wadena Ladies Team, and even coached some ball. She also enjoyed watching the Toronto Blue Jays. She was an avid bowler, gardener, and card player. Spare time was also spent on crosswords, puzzles, square dancing, watching soaps, and attending sports days. While she enjoyed all of these things Elma's favourite past time was spending her summers at the lake with her family. She continued to go to Leslie Beach at Fishing Lake on the same lot until the flood of 2007. She moved to another campsite in 2008 and continued to enjoy herself until two years ago. Elma leaves to mourn her children: Greg - Saskatoon, Keith (Brenda) - Wynyard, Corinne (Danny) White - Tisdale, and Glenda Dempster - Regina; her Grandchildren: Kris (Tamara), Kirsten (Jeff), Darla (Ryan), Dylan (Dayna), Sean (Kerstin) and Amanda; Her Great-Grandchildren: James (Andrea), Reeve, Rey, Benjamin, and Eden; Her brothers-in-law Jim and Arnold, her sisters-in-law Eula and Dorothy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Elma was predeceased by her loving husband Lennie, her parents, 5 sisters, 6 brothers, numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and her grandson, Junior.
