Obituary
Click Here for Live Dorine was born on May 4, 1946. She passed away on March 20, 2021. She was predeceased by: her mother and father, Lawrence and Therese Desjarlais (nee Pambrun), her grandmother, Philomene and her siblings, Lloyd and Lorraine. Dorine had a vivacious personality and was adored by many. Her life was filled with humour and adventures with her friends and family. She loved to bead, sew, hunt, bake, dance, travel and laugh. As she was raising her own children she was "Mom" and "Auntie" to so many other children in her community. She was brave and fierce yet gentle and loving. She had an immense love for her family and friends. She will be missed by all those who knew her. We will cherish our many beautiful memories forever. Dorine is survived by her children: Celina Quewezance (Tyrone), Lori McGavin (Robert), Brenton Quewezance (Cree), Christina Quewezance (Jai), and her bonus sons Dennis Moose and Dean Severight (Patricia); her grandchildren Wyatt (Mercedes), Whitney, Warner (Kateri), Kaelin (Cody), Whisper, Griffin, Kohana, Kypton, Baylee, Tyee, and Brenton Jr.; her great-grandchildren Chloe, Coen, Athena, Myla, Lyla, and Jupiter and many other grandchildren, friends, and family members who loved her dearly. A service will be held for her immediate family members on March 24 at 10:00 a.m. The service will be live streamed for family and friends who wish to attend virtually - Via Narfason's Funeral Chapel and Crematorium's Facebook Page. A link will be posted just prior to the service. Friends and family who wish to join the funeral procession at 11:30 a.m. are invited to line the grid (Highway 665) south of Kylemore to Fishing Lake First Nation. Burial will follow at the Fishing Lake Anglican Church Cemetery. You will be asked to follow all COVID precautions and stay in or near your vehicles. Dorine's wishes were that the family protects themselves and the community from covid. Her wishes were that no wake is to be held and that the viewing and service is attended in-person by immediate family members only. Please help us respect her wishes by attending the virtual service, procession and/or burial only. A celebration of life will be held next year for family and friends to attend.
