Wake: Thursday, December 12, 2013 @ 4:00 p.m. Day Star First Nation Gymnasium Funeral Service: Friday, December 13, 2013 @ 11:00 a.m. Day Star First Nation Gymnasium Interment to follow at the Kinequon Family Cemetery. Cameron passed away with his family by side on Monday, December, 9, 2013 at the age of 62 years. Predeceased by his father Morris Kinequon and brothers Darwin and Walter Kinequon. Cameron is survived by his loving wife Sonia Kinequon, daughters Carla and Kristen and grandson Matthew; mother Beatrice Kinequon; brothers Llyod (Rhonda), Delbert (Sheila), Derek, Dennis, Verne (Maureen), Tim, Leon (Pam); sisters Lorretta (Clay) and Lorraine (Richards). Cameron was a friendly and sociable person and made friends wherever he went, he had a great sense of humour, was kind, caring and brutally honest to say the least. He was a green thumb and was very meticulous with the upkeep of his yard. Cameron's interests included helping the family farm, helping with community events and projects, maintaining the roads, and being actively involved in educational issues. Cameron was a foster parent with TCFS and cared for foster child Aaron for a number of years. He was also a former Chief of the Day Star First Nation for 4 terms and served on Council for 1 term. The family would like to thank the nursing staff of the St. Paul's hospital ICU for the care provided for Cam. Special thanks to Ministers Ed & Diane Cooper (Evangelical), and reverend Jessica Latshaw (Anglican) for their prayers and support. We would also like to thank Day Star Chief and Council and to you all of sharing in our sorrow, your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated and will always be remembered.
