Meroslawa Holowaty passed away peacefully at 5:55 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2017at Saint Peter's Hospital in Melville, Sask. She was born on the farm near Krasny School on April 25, 1921 and would have celebrated her 96th birthday with her family, but due to illness, was admitted to hospital on Sunday, April 23. Meroslawa was predeceased by her husband, Metro on November 1, 1997 and remained in her home in Foam Lake until her admittance to the Melville St. Paul Lutheran Home in the winter of 2015. There she enjoyed many hours of activities and cherished socializing with residents and staff alike.
