Obituary
Ralph Albert Voeltz was born on April 26, 1942 on the family farm, 2 miles South of Jasmin, Saskatchewan. He was the 5th child born to Fred and Rose (Nee Cybulski) Voeltz. Ralph attended school at Jasmin. Ralph was a farmer at heart, at a very young age, he chose to devote his life to farming. Ralph farmed right up to the end of his life, combining his last crop last fall and harrowing his last quarter this spring. Ralph was blessed with three daughters; Carrie-Lynn, Jodi-Marie and Darla-Lee. He had a great passion for horses which he instilled into his daughters. He made sure that each daughter had their own horse at a young age. He always made time to take his daughters to various horse functions.As the grandchildren arrived, the love of horses continued. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren race their horses, winning saddles and buckles throughout the year. He enjoyed hearing the accomplishments of his granddaughter in Ontario and her success with her horse. Also having great pride for his only grandson and his awards in public speaking. Ralph enjoyed participating in sports and was very competitive, playing hockey, fastball and curling. Curling was his true passion. When he was unable to curl, he watched countless hours. He was very adamant to seeing the new curling rink being built. Dedicating countless hours to it's construction. Ralph passed away on July 1, 2021. He leaves to mourn his daughters: Carrie-Lynn (Terry) Zenkawich, Jodi-Marie (Keith) Blight, and Darla-Lee Voeltz-Fear, his grandchildren, Mercedes, Reauna and Mariah Blight; RyeLee and Paige Fear; his sisters, Delores Rusteika, Valerie (Glen) Blechinger, Sharon (Jeff) Karol and his brother, Ronnie Voeltz and numerous nieces, nephews. Ralph was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Rose; sisters, Ruthie and Gladys; his brothers, Clifford, Charlie, Marvin and Ricky; niece Trina Norgard and nephew Shaun Blenchinger as well as numerous brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws,. Ralph was an amazing Father, Grandpa, Brother and Uncle. He was the glue that kept our family together. His quiet, gentle ways and huge heart will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
