It is with great sadness that Sheldon and Terry say good bye to their beloved Mother, Sharon Halko on July 25, 2016. Sharon Lynn Halko was born on March 2, 1961 to Jean Essar and Peter Halko at Leoville, Saskatchewan. Sharon was the oldest of three, with younger brothers, Wayne and Billy. As a young girl, Sharon attended school in Saskatoon, and Foam Lake until grade 10. A few years later, Sharon returned to school in Melville to finish her grade 12. She then continued her education so that she may be employed in a privately run care home in Yorkton. Sharon was known to be fun, and friendly. She enjoyed visiting with people, playing cards, and watching movies with her sons. She was an avid shopper, always looking for deals; and when home, she loved to bake bread and buns. Sharon was predeceased by, brothers, Billy and Wayne. She leaves to mourn her passing, son, Sheldon Halko of Foam Lake; son, Terry Halko of Regina, and mother, Jean Essar of Foam Lake. Due to failing health, Sharon resided in the palliative care room at Foam Lake Jubilee Nursing Home for the last weeks of her life. She passed away with her son Sheldon at her side. Sharon's family will be forever grateful to the staff at Foam Lake Jubilee Home for the wonderful care she received during her time there.
