SEBULSKY, Beverly Anne January 24, 1957 - July 31, 2020 It is with overwhelming sadness that the family of Beverly Anne Sebulsky announce her passing at St Paul's Palliative Care Unit in Saskatoon, in John's loving arms after a very brief but courageous battle with cancer. Bev was born on January 24, 1957, in Foam Lake, SK to loving parents, Victoria (Korpatnisky) and Peter Sebulsky. Bev lived on the family farm south of Sheho, SK with her parents and 3 older brothers. She enjoyed living on the farm and growing up with her cousins and neighbors in the area whom she always considered as family. Living on the farm, helping with chores and looking after some of the animals taught Bev her amazing work ethic. She was never afraid to get her hands dirty and did whatever she had to, to help. When her Dad passed away in 1978, she lived on the farm with her Mom and together they looked after the yard, as well as the pigs and chickens they had on the farm. As Bev got older, she started playing fastball with the Sheho Sunbeams. They played in many sports days and Bev had some great times playing with her friends. Bev also started curling when she went to school in Foam Lake and became a very accomplished and competitive curler. Throughout the summers in her later teenage years, Bev and her friends also became AG reps and spent many summer nights checking crops down all the back roads around Sheho and area making wonderful memories. A couple of years after her Dad passed away Bev's brother moved back to the farm and she then decided that she would move to Saskatoon to live with her friend Lucille. There was a group of friends who lived in Saskatoon and they spent many nights playing cards and hanging out. Upon moving to Saskatoon, Bev had a few different jobs and worked two jobs at a time for many years so she and Lucy could do some travelling. They went to Jamaica, Brazil and the Barbados. During this time Bev got a job with Camco where she got to meet John. They worked together for several years and that is how they became Bev and John. After her job ended at Camco, Bev was hired on at Nutana Machine. She worked in the office there for almost 28 years until her passing. She really enjoyed all of her co-workers and the atmosphere there, and she treated everyone like they were a big family. She touched a lot of people with her personality and thoughtfulness without even realizing how much she had affected everyone she worked with presently, and all who had worked there in the past. Once Bev let John catch her, they spent many years together doing a lot of different things. Bev still played ball but switched to slo-pitch, and she still enjoyed curling with John on a mixed team. John introduced her to golf which she really enjoyed and liked to go as often as she could. She also took up bowling and became a good bowler, she had many good games and would give John a lesson in how it was done. She became his biggest supporter and coach. Over the years Bev and John went on some warm holidays as well as many trips around Saskatchewan exploring new places and golf courses wherever they went. Bev also loved to be at home and host bbqs in the back yard and have friends for supper or snacks. Bev and John's home was always lovingly opened to family and friends whenever they needed a place to stay in the city. Bev loved all the holidays and usually decorated for every season. Christmas was probably her favorite and the house was always decorated and very festive. She loved to cook a Ukrainian Christmas dinner for their friends, which they all looked forward to every year. Bev loved spending time in the backyard and always had a great garden and flowers galore. She loved just sitting on the deck and enjoying the flowers, trees and also her collection of gnomes and bears. She was very happy to relax on the deck or by the fire table and enjoy a nice glass of wine. Bev was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Victoria Sebulsky; her brother, Ronnie Sebulsky; mother-in-law, Grace Rayner; and brother-in-law, Terry Rayner. Bev is survived by her husband John; her father-in-law, Glen Rayner; her brothers, Bernie (Faye) Sebulsky and Randy (Dorothy) Sebulsky; her brother-in-law, Gordon (Treena) Rayner; sister-in-law Laurie-Ann (Stefan) Sarachie; her nephews, Colin (Sydney) Sebulsky, Chad (Danielle) and Nohl Sebulsky, Tyler (Heather) Ryder and Kaliya Sebulsky, Kyle (Shayla) Sebulsky, Michael(Kaila) Rayner and Bogdan Sarachie; her nieces, Amy (Ryan) Gracie, Kallie and Nickson Monych, Stephanie (Jeff) and George Young, Meagan Rayner and Katie Sarachie. Bev was a beloved wife, sister, aunt and friend. She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to extend their thanks to all those who cared for Bev, The Stroke Team at RUH, The Oncology Ward and Cancer Centre teams, and the Palliative Care Unit for their effort in keeping Bev comfortable while in your care. Your compassion and care was greatly appreciated. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
