Gladys Louise Dubreuil (nee Head) passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 23rd,2018 at Wadena Hospital from cancer at the age of 98. She was born on February 28, 1920 in Humboldt. She attended Norwegian Grove School. She had five brothers, Fred, Bert, Art, Frank and Jim. She was second youngest. She married John Dubreuil on October 14, 1941 at St. James. They have four children: Louise; born in 1942, Frank; born in 1945, Rene; born in 1951 and Jeannette; born and adopted in 1964. Gladys enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, especially roses, baking bread and many other homemade goodies, knitting, crocheting and she read hundreds of books. She learned how to use an Ipad to keep in touch with family and a laptop computer to put puzzles together and other games. She always wanted something to keep busy at. She was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Louise (Chitty) Head, all of her brothers and their wives, and her loving husband of 61 years, John. She is survived by her 4 children: Louise (John) Kopanko, Frank (Emily Kaminski), Rene (Arlice Hamilton), Jeannette (Frank) Lipinski. 8 grandchildren: Janine (Bill), James (Tarra), Joseph (Karen), Marc (Taren), Jason (Alison), Staci (Rob), Aaron (Alex), Blaize. 13 great grandchildren: Quinn; Martial and Shannon; Benjamin and Kathryn; Austen and Cameron; Rayah and Anna; Savanna, Tallon, Scott; and baby Luke. Her Sisters in law: Bernadette Thieven (Dubreuil), 93, of Medicine Hat and Marie Dubreuil (Boey), 98, of Estevan and many nieces and nephews and their families.
