It is with heavy hearts that the family of Eileen Knight announce her passing on February 5, 2019 at Sunset Extendicare in Regina. Eileen was predeceased by her husband Victor Knight, her sister Etta Pocock and her brother Park Minhinnick. She is survived by three children, John, Ethel, and Edith, sister Margaret, brother Chester, plus numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces and their partners. Eileen spent her life in Invermay prior to moving to Regina in her final years. She loved the country life and all that country life entails. She was an expert with horses, an avid curler, amazing seamstress and gardener and could always whip up a gourmet country meal at a moments notice. She was a dedicated member of the Invermay community involved in numerous community organizations. She was an active supporter of the Invermay Agricultual Fair, organizing events, and participating in competitions for which she consistently won top prizes for her gardening, sewing and baking. Service in Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 6, 2019 in the Invermay Community Hall. Donations in memory of Eileen may be made to the Invermay Cemetery Fund, Invermay, Saskatchewan.
