Funeral Service: Saturday, December 21, 2013 @ 1:00 p.m. Foam Lake Town Hall Foam Lake, Saskatchewan Interment to follow at the Foam Lake Cemetery Clifford Harvey Wunder was born on March 3rd, 1925 at Sheho, Sk, the third child of Frank and Amy (Quinn) Wunder. Clifford married Helen Feist on February 28th, 1950 in Sheho, Sk. Clifford entered into eternal rest on December 14th, 2013 at the Yorkton Union Hospital. Clifford was predeceased by his parents Frank and Amy Wunder; by his sister Rhita and brothers Cecil and Murray. Left to mourn Clifford's passing and celebrate his life are his beloved wife of sixty three years, Helen; son Lloyd (Lynne) and their son Shane; daughter Faye (Bernie) and their children Colin, Amy (Ryan) and Chad; son Ron (Trish) and his sons Brandon (Kerry) and Gatlin; son David (Barb) and their children Samantha (Monty) and Cody; his very special great grandaughters Gracie and Kallie as well as his nieces and nephews. Clifford attended school in Sheho. Upon completing Grade 12, he helped out on his father's farm raising turkeys and chickens as well as farming. He also worked at the pool elevator and stockyards. In the fall of 1944 Clifford joined the merchant Navy. In 1946 he was discharged from the Navy, and he returned home to Sheho and did a little farming. He then spent nine months in the Sanitorium in Saskatoon as he recovered from tuberculosis. When he returned home to Sheho he worked in the Red and White store for seven years until his father sold the store, then Clifford went to work for Wells Construction for two years. He returned home to Sheho and built and operated Wunder's Esso Service Station for eighteen years. After that time Clifford bought a farm south of Sheho where he farmed and raised pigs and chickens. Clifford and Helen resided on the Farm until 2011 when they moved to Foam Lake. Clifford was very active in his community. Throughout the years he was a School Board Trustee, a Credit Union Board member, and he was on the Parent's Committee of the Foam Lake Air Cadets. Clifford was also a Saskatchewan Firearms Safety Hunter Education Instructor. As well, in 1947 Cliff joined the Saskatoon Legion Branch No. 78; he transferred in May 1950 to the Sheho Legion Branch No. 356 where he held a number of chairs.
