Laverne worked various jobs through the years and enjoyed them all. She was a very hard worker, a joy to workwith and was well-respected at work. Laverne was a very generous, outgoing person who always had a smile for you. She was a caring mother and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed the outdoors, quadding, camping and watching the grandchildren play hockey. Probably most of all she enjoyed taking "road trips" to visit loved ones or to simply see some scenery. She will be dearly missed by all. WHEN I COME TO THE END OF MY JOURNEY When I come to the end of my journey And I've travelled these last weary miles, Please forget, if you can, that ever I frowned And remember only my smiles. Forget if I've blundered or stumbled And fallen sometimes by the way, Remember I fought some hard battles And won, ere the close of the day. Forget any unkind words spoken- Remember some good I have done, Forget that I ever had heartache And remember the times that were fun. Then forget to grieve for my going. I would have you sad for a day, But in summer just gather some flowers And remember the place where I lay. And sometime if you roam in the gloaming 'Neath a sun painted sky west, Stand for a few moments beside me And remember only my best. Online condolences will be received by the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Narfason's Funeral Chapel & Crematorium a division of Narfason Family Funeral Services.
