Iris Kilborn was born on her familys homestead in the Pleasantdale District on August 28, 1930. She was born to Herbert and Jane Webb and was 4th of seven children including four sisters and three brothers. When Iris was 18 years old she met her first husband Wally Kilborn. On October 14, 1948 they got married and moved to the farm outside of Naicam shortly after. There, they had four children born to them; Linda, Jim, Donna and Frank. In 2005, Iris moved to Naicam and spent the remainder of her life with Vernon Opfergelt. Iris passed away at Parkland Place in Melfort on November 2, 2013 at the age of 83 years. Iris became ill in June 2013, and remained in the hospital until her passing. Iris will be lovingly remembered by her 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Linda (Melvin) Weber and family Rochelle (Joe) Voz and children Colby, Josie, Paige, Payton, Quinn, Shelby, and Carson, Darcy (Jenny) Weber and children Kelsey and her daughter Hailey, Dallas, and Trista; and Sheldon (Lindsay) Weber and children Ava, and Hayden; Donna Kaufmann and family Jennifer (Nebojsa) Oravec and daughter Selina, Sarah Kaufmann, and Daniel Kaufmann; Jim (Debbie) Kilborn and family Mike Kilborn (Cheryl) and daughter Asia, Glynn Kilborn (Brooke) and her daughter Kallie, Jeannie (Rob) Stewart and children Emma, Hailey, and Tyler, and Becky (Brad) Christopherson and children Ayden, Ty, Ashlyn, and Trista; and Frank Kilborn (Cora) and his daughter Carilee (Blake) Tate. She will also be sadly missed by her sister Shelia (Ted) of Bellville, Ontario, and her partner of 8 years Vernon Opfergelt and his family, and numerous other friends and family. Iris was predeceased by her first husband Wally Kilborn on December 17, 1993; her parents Herbert and Jane (nee Woodward) Webb; and her 6 siblings: Esther, Anne, Bill, Robert, Winnie, and Johnny.
