Obituary
Albert (Bert) Charles Carlson was born to Albert and Celia Carlson in Invermay, SK on April 13, 1968. He was the second of five children, and the oldest of the four boys. Bert had a caring nature from the beginning. As a youngster he could be found caring for the animals, playing with his siblings, cousins, and neighbor kids. He was generally pretty mellow. As Bert got older, he could be found building bale forts, tree forts and with age it moved to working on cars. Bert was always there to lend a helping hand with no strings attached. In his adult life, Bert was employed in the construction industry in Saskatchewan and Alberta. He worked for numerous farmers in the Invermay area. In recent years, he could be found clearing snow in the winter, mowing lawns in the summer and growing an elaborate garden. As well, in his adult life, he had two children, Katelyn and Charlie. Albert’s kind heart and strong will carried him through life but the bigger battle wasn’t meant to be won for him. Albert passed away August 9, 2020. Bert is survived by his two children Katelyn Carlson-Rioch and Charlie Carlson-Rioch. His siblings: Linda (Brian) Weber and family - Raeanne (Orin) Denomie and their children Emily and Isla, Alyssa (Ryan) Halvorson and their children Abby and Harper, Michelle (Dylan) Priestman and their child Rylee; Rodney Carlson and his family - Clinton Carlson, Cassidy Carlson, Courtney Carlson, and Carlee Carlson; Douglas (Amanda) Carlson and son Bennett Carlson; Ken (Lynn) Carlson and their family - Chris Comstock, Matt Comstock, and Chase Carlson. He also leaves to mourn many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Albert (2014) and Celia (2007)
