Obituary
Donations in memory of Eileen may be made to the Raymore Cemetery Committee or Regina Wascana Grace Hospice. Eileen Marie Peeke (Okell) passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 16, 2018 with family by her side at the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice. Eileen was born on December 30, 1937 in the Raymore area to Willis and Viola Okell. Eileen worked hard as a farm wife for many years as well as other jobs such as school bus driver, Editor of the Hi-way 15 Gazette, and in the later years, professional cook. Eileen was an active volunteer throughout her life with many local organizations including the UCW, Semans Rink Committee and Foam Lake Seniors to name a few. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, critiquing curling games on TV and was an avid Scrabble player. Making soup and baking to be shared with family and friends was always a favourite pastime. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Eileen is survived by children, Lynda Holmstrom (Gary), Regina, Barrie Peeke (Melanie), Southey, Bob Peeke (Shelley), Edmonton, Connie Kozak (Daryl), Regina, Grandchildren Michael Dudley (Pam), Swift Current, Janeen Dudley, Regina, Tamara Lorenz (Tyson), Southey, Mitchell Peeke, Regina, Jeremy Peeke (Allie), Edmonton, Kendra Kynoch (Scott), Rocky Rapids, AB, Justine Hurlburt (Landon), DeWinton, AB Tynell McKinney-Lawton (Sheldon), Sherwood Park, AB, Justin Cook (Han), Edmonton, Mitchel Cook, Edmonton, Travis Kozak, Regina, Carson Kozak, Regina, 13 great-grandchildren, Sisters - Judy Fry (Dave) Regina, Sandra Leitch Yorkton, Brother - Armand Okell (Rose) Grandview, MB, and numerous nieces and nephews. Eileen was predeceased by her parents Willis and Viola Okell and brother, Terry Okell.
