She was active in the Nut Lake Ladies Aide and later in the Rose Valley Senior Center, until she moved to Saskatoon to assisted living at age 96. Prior to this she had lived on her own in her house in Rose Valley. Mom especially enjoyed all manner of card games, especially bridge and cribbage and would challenge children and grandchildren to cribbage games when they came to visit. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nut Lake Lutheran Church or the Rose Valley Seniors Center.
