Charlene Heather Lynn Gray was born on September 18, 1957 in Regina, Saskatchewan to Peter and Annie (Litwin) Deschener. Charlene took her elementary schooling in Regina. She spent many summer holidays with her grandparents, Mike & Polly Litwin in Bankend, SK. Charlene moved with her family to Edmonton in 1971, where Charlene finished high school. She returned to Regina in 1975. Charlene worked many jobs; from pizza making, waitressing, bar maiding, janitorial, truck dispatching, to tow truck driving. Charlene’s last job before moving to the farm at Bankend was at Remco Memorials working on headstones. Charlene loved farming, auction sales, restoring old tractors, mechanics, and horses. Charlene loved the challenge of community involvement and projects. Charlene loved a good party, if there was one. Charlene first met the love of her life, Everett Thomas Gray in 1970, while on summer holidays at Bankend. Their paths crossed again in 1982. Charlene married Everett on June 18, 1983. They moved to the farm by Bankend in 1984. Over the past 32 years, Charlene and Everett worked together on the farm and at Rockytop Enterprises in the Bankend District. Charlene leaves to mourn her husband, Everett; son, Peter; grandchildren, Jaydin Gray, Tylan Gray, Brandy Cameron, Brittany (Lionel Chan) Cameron; great-grandson, Shaddix ; daughter, Natasha, (Darrell Villeneau); brother, Mark (Pam) Deschner and their daughter Savannah; as well as numerous extended family. Charlene was predeceased by her: father, Peter Deschner; mother, Annie Wilson; stepfather, Ray Wilson; brother, Dale Deschner. Charlene was also predeceased by her: father-in-law, and mother-in-law, Thomas A (Bill) & Gladys Gray; grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles. Charlene's life touched many and she will be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.
