Obituary
Elsie Walchuk passed away on March 20, 2016 at her home in Theodore. Elsie was born on February 2, 1932, to Nick and Lena Kucheron of Sheho, Sask. As a young girl, Elsie worked with her parents on the family farm. In 1950, she married Alex Walchuk. They farmed north of Sheho, on a mixed grain and cattle farm. Throughout the years, Elsie used to laugh and say, that if she had a penny for every stone she picked, she would have been a rich woman. Elsie enjoyed company and playing cards with family and friend. Upon retirement, there was more time to go touring, stopping in to visit friends, or just to go driving along the country roads. Elsie was predeceased by her father Nick and mother Lena Kucheron and her brothers; Walter, Dan, Steve, Bill and Mike. Elsie is survived by Alex her husband of 67 years, her daughters; Dianne (Laurence) Pelletier of Crossfields, Shiela Kitzul of Fort St. John, Violet Bilokreli of Calgary and Karen Walchuk of Theodore and brothers Donnie and Max Kucheron. Elsie will be sadly missed by all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
