Pamela Hawreluik Funeral Service Livestream - Please Click Here Pamela Fay Bilokrely was born November 19, 1958 at St. Boniface, MB to parents Harold and Ruth Bilokrely. Pamela took all of her schooling in Winnipeg, MB. Following high school Pamela worked for the Society of Crippled Children and Adults. After a short courtship with Michael Hawreluik, they were married on August 25, 1979. On August 17, 1983 they were blessed with the birth of their daughter Jennifer. In 2008, she added her son-in-law Stuart to her family. They lived on their family farm east of Sheho. After Michael’s passing in 2011, she remained on the farm until December 2019, when she moved to the town of Tuffnell. Pamela was employed for many years as the administrator for the Village of Sheho. After taking a few years off she began work at the Foam Lake Jubilee Nursing Home as a Care Aid and Food Service Worker. During this time, she also worked alongside Michael on the family farm. Most recently, she worked at Karla’s Auction House, a job she truly enjoyed. Pamela was an active volunteer in her community. She was involved with numerous organizations including Sheho Playschool, Sheho Ukrainian Dance Association, Sheho Figure Skating Club, the Sheho School Board, Sheho 4-H Beef Club, Sheho & District Rec Board and the Sheho Ladies Night Committee. Pamela LOVED to laugh with her family and friends. Family was important to Pam. The love and support she shared with Jennifer and Stuart was endless. Everyone who knew Pam, knew she shared a special bond with her sister Debbie. They spent hours talking on the phone and visiting, laughing at things the rest of us couldn’t even understand. She always had a “peace” sign for her brother-in-law Randy. She enjoyed teasing and laughing with her niece, Laine and nephew, Dean. Over the last few years Pam began traveling with Debbie and their friends, Angie and Brennin, to many different locations where they shared many laughs and made many memories. She had a special friendship with her sister-in-law Sharon, spending many evenings laughing and talking on the phone together. After Pam moved to Tuffnell, she enjoyed spending time with her friend Sherry. Pam was a very special person who touched the lives of all who knew her. Pamela’s most cherished moments were spent with her three grandchildren: Colt Michael, born in 2013; Haze Olivia, born in 2014 and Ember Rita, born in 2017. They were the light of her life and they loved “Gramma Sheho”. Gramma Sheho spent all her spare time with her grandchildren and they always came first for her. Gramma Sheho was always there to cheer them on whether they were riding horses, playing hockey, figure skating, Ukrainian dancing, playing ball or school events. They held a special place in her heart. Pamela was pre-deceased by her husband, Michael, her parents, Harold and Ruth Bilokrely and her parents in-law, Nick and Esther Hawreluik. Those left to celebrate her life and memory include her daughter and son-in law, Jennifer and Stuart Redekop, and her grandchildren, Colt, Haze and Ember. Also left to celebrate her life is her sister Deborah (Randy) Slowski, her sisters in law, Sharon Bachinsky and Dolores (Dennis) Zoski, her brother in law Harvey (Gloria) Hawreluik, as well as many nieces and nephews and their children.
