On May 4, 2020, Lily Szukaylo passed away at her farm in West Bend, SK. She was 77 years old. Lily will be reunited with her beloved husband, Harry Szukaylo, her parents, John and Mary Blazeiko, her mother and father-in-law, John and Mary Szukaylo, her beloved daughter Cindy, and her sister Emily. Left to cherish her memory is her son Ken (Harmony), her precious grandchildren Kaylee and Kyle, numerous nieces and nephews and an abundance of good friends. Lily was born in her childhood family home on March 6, 1943. She attended school across the road in West Bend where she would have first met the love of her life Harry. Lily and Harry were joined in marriage in 1964 and later started a family together. If Lily wasn’t in the kitchen cooking, or in the garden, she was entertaining, helping her community and friends, and enjoying the life that she had built with Harry. She was heavily involved in the Model Farm Church, most recently serving as president. Her relationship with God was of upmost importance to her throughout her life. Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, a memorial will be planned for Lily at a future time.
