She leaves behind; her sister Ellen and her family, David Leon (wife) Lisa and children Jaqueline and Jaden Peeace; son Corwin and his son Cory (Sara); son Leroy (Karen) and his family, children D.J., Lucas, Kayla and her daughter Amanda; son Darryl and his family Amber Paradis and her children Josh, Kihlan Emma and Hartlyn, sons, James and Jessy Buffalo; and special son Raymond Shumi and family, numerous relatives and friends. Maggie loved her family, although she didn't express it in words she displayed her love in many different ways. A smile as you entered her home, she showed her respect for you by serving and offering tea or coffee and even a full course meal which she lovingly prepared for you, she did this out of love. She loved to laugh and joke and tease. If she teased you and joked with you it was because she was comfortable with you enough to show you that side of her. Her love for dancing was often shared with her brothers and sisters, and those she held dear to her heart. She could often be found at dances in different communities, FLFN, Yellowquill, Kinistin and Day Star where she made many friendships and visited with close relatives. She could often be found at New Years dances, rarely seated, always on he dance floor. She never refused an invitation to dance. You are dancing now, in Heaven. We all will miss you Maggie, and many of the lives you touched have fond and lasting memories of you. As we lay your body to rest our hearts are breaking and tears are rolling down our faces, we are also rejoicing and celebrating your life with you. You are no longer in pain, and your worries on this earth are no more. There are no words in your language for good bye, so we wish you a good journey. Thank you for the memories, and your life, you will always be remembered.
