Obituary
Graveside Service: Friday, November 27, 2015 11:00 a.m. Pleasantview Cemetery, Wynyard, Saskatchewan. Donations in memory of John may be made to a charity of one's choice. Lunch to follow at the Ukrainian Hall, Wynyard, Saskatchewan. John was born Jan. 19, 1922 on his parents homestead and lived and farmed there his whole life. He married the love of his life Agnes Neilson in 1962 and they had 53 years together. He loved his horses and livestock. Many hours were spent with his horses, working, grooming and training them. Every winter even when he had tractors he still used his horses to haul hay and manure for his cattle. He had a hard work ethic and never stopped working. He sold his last horse a year ago when he found it to be too hard to care for. John always had the fattest cattle around, no animal went hungry on his farm. John was an excellent mechanic and was called upon by many neigbours and even some dealerships would call him when they couldn’t get a baler to work properly. John and Agnes always had a wood cookstove in the house and were still using it. He liked nothing better than to have family and friends come over for coffee. They would always insist you had lunch before you left. John loved children. He always had time and patience for them. He would always play and tease them, and they’d always come back for more. He loved when kids would call him “Uncle Johnny”. John leaves to mourn his wife Agnes (Neilson), numerous nieces and nephews scattered from Ontario to BC and many friends and neighbours. John was the last of the Pawloski family. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Irene (Kniaginski); brothers: Mike (Mary), Bill (Shirley), and a brother in infancy (in Galicia) and Matt in early childhood; sisters: Petrina (Pete) Pawluik, Mary (Kato) Wood, Jean (Harry) Lalach.
