Ed passed away in his home at Preeceville at the age of 76. Ed was born in the Hazel Dell area to Mike and Mary Madarash. He married Anna Schmidt in 1963 and they were blessed with 4 children - Don, Ken, Mark and Joann. He held various jobs over the years and eventually started his own business - E.O. Madarash Refrigeration and Air Conditioning which he did until his retirement. Ed was predeceased by his wife Anna, sister Sonya, parents Mike and Mary Madarash, mother and father-in-law Mathias and Rose Schmidt. He is survived by his children: Don (Colinda, Taylor, Erika) of Regina, Sask.; Ken (Jeannette) of Calgary, Alta.; Mark (Tracy, Megan, Ella) of Wynyard, Sask. and Joann (Dan, Celidh, Sabrina, Jamie, Natasha) of St. Kitts. Brothers Paul (Emily) and Carl; as well as several nieces and nephews. Ed will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Preeceville Hospital Auxillary.
